MashLav Foods was born in 2021. The company was born out of need to provide a sustainable and convenient
solutions to curb/prevent modern day diseases such as cancer.
In addition, population pressures in the Coastal Kenya which is estimated to increase to 6M by 2030 will demand
an innovative approach to producing and consuming food. Mushroom farming is a form of biotechnology conversion that uses locally available resources to produce healthy delicious mushrooms thus promoting food and nutrition security.

With the increasing rate of modern day diseases most people are on the lookout for healthy organic meals, mushroom is one meal that provides several minerals and antioxidants that boosts the immune system.

farming which is cost-effective, promotes circular economy and maximizes economy of scale to produce nutritious healthy organic fresh oyster mushrooms.
